Iselin, NJ - The Aztec Corporation, has completed the design of an additional location for a national education publication. This project is located in Chandler, AZ and is being headed by Aztec employees, Dorothy Zarnik, principal, Amy Girgis, director, and Gina Johnston, facility analyst.
“The new design provides for plenty of collaborative opportunities for the staff,” said Dorothy Zarnik. “We worked closely with the company in order to incorporate the beauty of the southwest into the space. The organic carpeting transitioning against the gold, blue and green patterned VCT floors, as well as the random splashes of wall color, decorative ceiling soffits and track lighting, all help in attracting curious visitors to the space.”
The newly constructed five story, 180,000 s/f office building will include two full floors with delivery and storage spaces located on the lower levels. The project will comprise of a reception, cafe, conference areas, training rooms, and open and private offices. The space, which effectively utilizes natural light, was designed to be a fun and sophisticated working environment.
The reception area incorporates a rich chocolate colored carpet, an appealing contrast against the glass walls, geometric textured wall covering sand bright teal accent wall.
Adjacent to the reception area is a conference room flanked by glass on two sides. The mood of the room visibly changes by way of a deep purple and copper colored carpet. The open areas are situated on the inside perimeter of the L-shaped building and therefore bathed in natural light.
Purple, teal, rust and yellow accent walls help create a feeling of energy. Carpet tiles create a field of rich golds and browns with splashes of purple and green for emphasis.
